Stable Management & Equine Education Courses

Stable Management — Stages 1, 2 & 3

Designed for equestrians with little or no hands-on experience, or for those wishing to refresh foundational skills. Topics include:​

• Mucking out and general stable duties

• Filling and weighing haynets and understanding nutritional requirements

• Feed and supplements

• Rug types, correct fitting, and when to change rugs

• Recognising equine temperatures and signs of discomfort

• Field management and pasture care

• Importance of worming, dentistry, and routine healthcare

Horse Care & First Aid — Stages 1, 2 & 3

Covering the fundamentals of daily horse care including:

Courses & Certification

There are three stages to Stable Management and Horse Care, and two stages to both Tack & Saddlery and Travelling Horses Safely. Upon completion of all four courses, participants will receive a signed certificate from MRW International.
